The Royal International Air Tattoo
Held annually each July at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire. The Royal International Air Tattoo is the world's largest military Air Show. This years event is on Sat 17th and Sun 18th July 2010 and will celebrate one of the most iconic moments in modern history - the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. RIAT holds a particular place in a David's affections as it was here, in a B&Q tent at the far end of the airfield that David first showed his aviation inspired artwork in 2000. Over the past few years David has been delighted to exhibit his Art of Flight Collection in the Patron's Pavilion. In 2010 David's solo exhibition at RIAT will include his new Battle of Britain Collections commemorating this major anniversary.
Cotswold Air Show
An excellent Air Show planned for the 19th & 20th June 2010. The impressive line-up of displays include those by the Red Arrows, Team Viper and the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. As part of the event to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, David will be launching his 2 new collections at the Cotswold Air Show. If you like airplanes, you'll love the Cotswold Airport - a centre of real excellence for all types of aviation activity. There is always something worth seeing or doing at this dynamic airport including having lunch at AV8, where you can see the planes flying outside and David's work on display inside!
